Japanese Crispy Pork Ribs
Ingredient
| Spare Ribs, individual cut | 300 | g |
| Deep Fry Mixed Flour | 30 | g |
| Water | 50 | g |
| Bread Crumbs | 100 | g |
| Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Pineapple Flavored Syrup | 100 | g |
| Ground Pepper | 1 | tsp |
| Garlic, finely chopped | 1 | tbsp |
| Chili, finely chopped | 1 | tbsp |
| Bird’s Eye Chili, finely chopped | 1 | tbsp |
| Sesame Oil | 1 | tbsp |
| Ginger Juice | 2 | tbsp |
| Japanese Soy Sauce | 2 | tbsp |
| Salt | ½ | tsp |
| Vegetable Oil for deep fry and Kaiware for decoration |
Method
1. Mix spare ribs with ginger juice, pepper, Japanese soy sauce and sesame oil. Add deep fry batter and water.
2. Mix well, coat the ribs in breadcrumbs. Deep fry in medium heat till golden. Set aside.
3. Sautee garlic, chili and bird’s eye chili in vegetable oil till you get nice aroma. Add Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Pineapple Flavored Syrup and salt. Bring to boil. Pour over crispy pork ribs and decorate with Kaiware. Serve immediately.
Remark : Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers preference in each region.
