Strawberry Syrup Mooncake

Ingredient

Mung Bean Flour                           90      g
Water, warm                       60   g
Shortening                             80     g
Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup          140     g
Mung Bean Fillings with Salted Yolk inside, or any preferred fillings
Mung Bean Flour for dusting

Method

1.Mix mung bean flour with Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup, warm water and shortening. Mix with paddle attachment on medium speed till smooth and well combined. Rest for 60 minutes.
2.Scale and divide dough and fillings to moon cake mould size (ration of dough : fillings is 40 : 60).
3.Roll out the dough. Add fillings in the middle and wrap tightly. Dust with mung bean flour and press in mooncake mould. Tap to unmould and refrigerate till served.





Remark : Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
