Pineapple Braid Bread
Ingredient
| Bread Flour | 500 | g |
| Milk Powder | 20 | g |
| Instant Dry Yeast for Sweet Dough | 15 | g |
| Butter, salted | 80 | g |
| Sweetened Pineapple Core | 200 | g |
| Golden Raisin | 100 | g |
| Egg White, for brushing | ||
| Egg, whole | 1 | pcs |
| Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Pineapple Flavored Syrup | 150 | g |
| Water | 100 | g |
| Vanilla Powder | 1 | tsp |
| Salt | 1 | tsp |
| Lemon Yellow Coloring | ½ | tsp |
Method
1.Mix flour, milk powder, vanilla powder, salt and instant dry yeast together. Mix just to combine.2.Add eggs, Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Pineapple Flavored Syrup, water, coloring and salted butter together till smooth.
3.Cut and scale dough at 60 g each. Make round balls and divide into 3 parts.
4.Roll out into long stripe. Tie to make braid.
5.Put on the tray greased with shortening. Proof till double in size.
6.Brush the surface with egg white. Decorate with pineapple core and raisin. Bake at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes or till well baked.
7.Cool on wire rack and brush with butter. Serve.
Remark :Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
